We have 3 fairies that live at our house. The coffee fairy, the stamp fairy, and the toilet paper fairy. They hide extras of these things around the house. Then when someone says, “We’re out of coffee,” instead of having to make a night trip to the store for the next morning’s coffee, the coffee fairy miraculously comes up with a bag of coffee. Or, “We’re out of stamps and I have to drop this in the mail tonight,” the stamp fairy presents a book of stamps. And toilet paper, well I don’t have to tell you the panic when we run out of that. The toilet paper fairy to the rescue. Of course, she is very sneaky and has good hiding places. She comes around because when “someone’ uses the last of something, it is forgotten until crisis time. And letting the primary keeper of household goods know when something is ABOUT to run out simply is a foreign idea. Hence, the fairies. They’re pretty smart, I think.
